CET

The CET project was aimed at identifying three tourist routes within Protected Natural Areas and the creation of three prototypes of use kits that allow visitors to be promptly assisted with multimedia and multilingual contributions relating to the route in question. The kits also allow disabled people (deaf-mute, visually impaired, etc.) to easily and totally autonomously enjoy the chosen routes.

Project achievements

• system for using the routes both locally and remotely (spherical photos and virtual tours) via the internet

• local distribution system to visitors of video footage via mobile devices (smartphones and tablets)

• application for mobile devices, which uses “Augmented Reality” technology, to enrich the visit experience with in-depth multimedia content

• non-invasive signage for a better description of the “Points of Interest” identified.
